New Name, Old Management
This is the first post under the new name.
I have been away from blogging for a long time and I hope this will be the new name/new blogger writing and not just typing. A few things have happened since I left blogging. Made some new friends and reunited with old friends (how I really missed old friends), and I think lost some friends.
I want to move forward from this point rather than dwell on the past and what happened while I was away. Maybe I will have the past pop up occasionally as an amusing anecdote. Maybe not. I want a Pulitzer prize. The real deal. I am writing a play to achieve that goal. I hope I start to write betterer, or I can kiss that dream adieu.
I am starting to think now, why do I want to blog. There is essentially a not small group that I do not want to read it, which is so restricting. One needs a place to express their ideas though. Come heck or high water, or the opinions that were not asked for.
Back in the saddle again.

welcome back. What would we do without feed readers to alert us?
Wow! I was stationed in the Philippines and Korea, so I am not surprised often, but after three years, this was a doozy. I immediately ran to your blog and am so in awe of your accomplishments in following your dream. I go to the Mississippi coast and cook for Katrina Relief volunteer (very long story) using the US Navy Cookbook as a guide. Anyway, I wanted to dash this off quick. It is so great to hear from you and thank you for stopping by!
